The top floor of an apartment building has a reputation for being the best place to live. Is it, however, truly the best? Perhaps, but perhaps not. Each floor of a building has its own set of advantages. TOP FLOOR

Apartments on the top floor have beautiful view and often have more natural light coming in through the windows. More sunlight, of course, means warmer interior temperatures. This is nice in the winter, but because heat rises, apartment living in the summer necessitates a greater reliance on the heating systems. However, many individuals are willing to spend more for utilities in the summer if it means they can enjoy more peace and quiet without having to deal with noisy neighbors.


MIDDLE FLOOR

Middle-floor apartment occupants enjoy the best of both worlds.
